Here is a piece with a cardinal perched on a tree branch. This was a cool scene with the cardinal’s red coat standing quite distinct from the green tree (red maple) canopy as well as the shady Japanese maple in the background. Since my last cardinal painting I still quite like the birds. I have continued to see them all this past spring and they have felt like symbols of hope and faith to me. Hoping you like this one and it resonates with you.
